Fornakai
Out of the ashes of one of the truly original grunge bands, Captain Eyeball, arose Fornakai. Dr. Distortions wild antics can still be heard, but the premier instrument in this ensemble is the synthesizer. And this aint no Nine Inch Nails ripoff, this stuff is abrasive at times, then eerily hypnotic. Closer to the Non or Nurse with Wound but a little more melodic. They will be playing Coney Bolona on Jan.9th and 66 Bowl on Jan 16th.
